The Knights Who Say "NI"

The Knights Who Say NI youtube video
+ a scene with Roger the Shrubber

"The Nights who say Ni" is one of the most well known lines about Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The scene was simple to act out, easy to understand, and freakin hilarious. The Knights who say Ni have the power of being incredibly annoying to anyone who dares to come face to face with them. The yell "NI" at their enemies, and their prey, and they would either be so annoyed that they do what the Knights who say Ni's orders, or they would probably die because they ripped their own ears out. The Knights who say Ni have one weakness though, and that is the word "IT." The word it for the Knights who say Ni are just as annoyed by the word "IT" as others are annoyed by the word "NI." The Knights who say Ni love shrubbery's, and they would make wandering travelers buy one for them.

When King Arthur met the Knights who say Ni, he and his companion Sir Bedivere were forced to find a shrubbery for the Knights who say Ni. After nearly annoying an old woman to death by saying "Ni," Arthur and Bedivere are met by a man named Roger. He is also known as "Roger the Shrubber." Roger sells shrubbery's and then the Knights who say Ni finally gotten their shrubbery. When the Knights who say Ni requested a second shrubbery, Arthur refused and defeated the Knights who say Ni entirely by accident when he has a conversation with Sir Robin. The conversation consisted of using the word "IT" which the Knights who way Ni were afraid of. The leader of the Knights who say Ni accidentally was caught in an endless cycle of saying the word "IT"when the leader kept saying "Oh, I said IT again."Thus they were finally defeated.

  1. It was interesting to read about the Knights who say "NI" and how King Arther defeated them. However it would have been nice to see a video of them talking and saying NI or IT.
